Pricing
One plan. Everything the platform can do. No tiers to compare, nothing held back for a higher price, and nothing metered — you supply the strategies, the data and the machine, and we supply the whole engine that runs them safely. Start with a 14-day trial — no card, no restrictions.
One plan
Everything the platform can do, on the day you buy it.
- Unlimited strategies — nothing metered, ever
- All eight broker integrations
- Paper and live, with every risk gate and the kill switch
- Backtesting on daily bars, minute bars and stored option chains
- 17 systematic option templates
- The research plane — features, backfills, model training
- Write your own features and strategies in Python
- The console assistant, on your own API key
- Encrypted off-host backup replication
- Three installations — dev, QA and production
- Email support and a say in the roadmap
Why there is only one plan
Because we could not enforce a second one honestly, and would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
Your strategies run on your machine. They never reach us, so there is nothing for us to count — not strategies, not deployments, not trades, not the data you collect. A tiered plan would mean advertising limits we have no way to apply, and gates that exist only until someone reads the source we ship them.
So the tiers are gone and the capability is not. Options-chain backtesting, minute backtesting, the research plane, your own feature code, the assistant — all of it is in the one plan, on the day you buy it. What we ship next is in it too, at the price you are already paying.
The one number that is finite is installations: three, which covers a development, a test and a production stack. That is a scale question rather than a capability one, and if you need more it is a conversation, not an upgrade button.
What a licence covers
The entitlement rule is the term customers argue about later, so it belongs here, with its edge cases named — not in the signed-in area and not only in the agreement.
- What counts as an installation?
- One AlgoSutra stack, identified by a random id written into its own Docker volume the first time it starts. It is not tied to your CPU, MAC address or disk — moving the volume moves the installation.
- What happens if I rebuild my containers?
- Nothing, as long as the state volume survives —
docker compose up --buildkeeps it. Delete the volume or restore onto a fresh host and that stack registers as a new installation; you release the old one yourself from your account page. - Can I move my licence to someone else?
- No. A licence is issued to one account and is not transferable. You may move it between your own machines as often as you like.
- What happens when my licence lapses?
- Your install keeps running, keeps its data, and keeps closing positions. What a lapsed licence blocks is opening a new position. It never blocks an exit and it never blocks the kill switch — a commercial dispute must not be able to trap you in a trade.
- Does my platform stop if this website is down?
- No. The licence is a signed token your machine verifies against a key it already holds. We are not in the path of an order, and we cannot be.
- How does revocation reach my machine, then?
- Only when the token is next renewed. A signed licence cannot be recalled mid-term — that is the cost of not depending on us, and we would rather state it than imply otherwise.
Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see your card details. Prices are in Indian Rupees and are the total you pay — nothing is added at checkout. We are not registered for GST yet, so no tax is charged and invoices are issued without one. If we register, the price on this page changes with it; because a subscription never auto-renews, that can only ever affect a term you choose to buy afterwards. You bring your own broker API subscription and your own machine or cloud; those are billed by your broker and your host, never by us. See our refund policy and terms. A subscription does not auto-renew — you buy each term deliberately.
